Removal [10/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the front fender front splash shield LH.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. for Standard:

      *a Bolt
      *b Screw
      1. Remove the 4 bolts.
      2. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. except Standard:

      1. Remove the 4 screws.
    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip and screw.

      *a 90°

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    4. Remove the center hood cushion and 2 radiator grille protectors.

      *a Center Hood Cushion
      *b Radiator Grille Protector
    5. Remove the 2 bolts and clip.
    6. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      *A for Standard
      *B except Standard
      Protective Tape
    7. Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

      *A for Standard

    8. w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

    9. w/ Pre-collision System, w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

      Disconnect the No. 3 engine room wire connector.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Remove the front bumper No. 2 energy absorber.

  5. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ]

  6. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ]

  7. REMOVE COOLER (AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR) THERMISTOR 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ]

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER CENTER STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper center stay sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOUNTING BRACKET ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper side mounting bracket assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. for Halogen Headlight:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

    2. for LED Headlight:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    *a 90°
    1. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the clip.
    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.
  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper upper reinforcement sub-assembly.
