ALL Stop Light do not Illuminate [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Check that the stop lights illuminate when the brakepedal is depressed.

   OK

   The stop lights illuminate when the brake pedal isdepressed.

1. Disconnect the A88 brake acyuator assembly.
2. Disconnect the A37 stoplight control ECU assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the N13 rear combination light lens and body LH connector.
4. Disconnect the M19 rear combination light lens and body RH connector.
5. Disconnect the U1 center stop light assembly connector.
6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A88-35 (STP) - A37-1 (OUT)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A88-35 (STP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the N13 rear combination light lens and body LH connector.
2. Disconnect the M19 rear combination light lens and body RH connector.
3. Disconnect the U1 center stop light assembly connector.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A37-1 (OUT) - Body ground	Brake pedal depressed	11 to 14 V

Result: 

OK 

REPAIR OR REPLACE REAR COMINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY AND CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

1. Inspect the rear combination light lens and body.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2015 - ] .

2. Inspect the center stop light assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2012 - ] .

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE STOP LIGHT CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]  . 

1. Disconnect the A88 brake acyuator assembly.
2. Remove the stop light relay.
3. Disconnect the N13 rear combination light lens and body LH connector.
4. Disconnect the M19 rear combination light lens and body RH connector.
5. Disconnect the U1 center stop light assembly connector.
6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Stop light relay terminal 3 - A88-35 (STP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A88-35 (STP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the N13 rear combination light lens and body LH connector.
2. Disconnect the M19 rear combination light lens and body RH connector.
3. Disconnect the U1 center stop light assembly connector.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Stop light relay terminal 3 - Body ground	Brake pedal depressed	11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE REAR COMINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY AND CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

1. Inspect the rear combination light lens and body.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2015 - ] .

2. Inspect the center stop light assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2012 - ] .

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (STOP LP)
