DTC CHG_f074: Hardware Fault has Occurred [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR ANY OTHER ALERT CODES OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool to the No. 2 DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (READY).
    3. Turn the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Alert List.
    5. Read the alert codes.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      Only CHG_f074 is output A
      CHG_f074 and other alert codes are output B

      HINT: 

      If any alert codes other than CHG_f074 are output, troubleshoot those alert codes first.

    A → See step   3 

  2. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2013 - ] 
  3. REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
