DTC BMS_f146: Overdischarged Cell is Preventing Recharge [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECHARGE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY ASSEMBLY (PROPER CHARGING CABLE AND PLUG) 
    1. Recharge the electric vehicle battery.

      HINT: 

      Properly recharge the vehicle using proper equipment, etc.

    2. Connect the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool to the No. 2 DLC3.
    3. Turn the power switch on (READY).
    4. Turn the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Alert List.
    6. Read the alert codes.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      Alert code is not output A
      BMS_f146 is output B

    B → See step   2 

    A → ALERT CODE CAUSED BY TOO LOW SOC CONDITION (NO REPAIR IS NECESSARY) 

  2. REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
