DTC BMS_f064: Electric Vehicle Battery Cell SOC Imbalance [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR ANY OTHER ALERT CODES OUTPUT 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Reconnect the cable to the auxiliary battery terminal.
    3. Wait 5 minutes or more.
    4. Connect the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool to the No. 2 DLC3.
    5. Turn the power switch on (READY).
    6. Turn the RAV4 EV diagnostic tool on.
    7. Enter the following menus: Alert List.
    8. Read the alert codes.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      Only BMS_f064 is output A
      BMS_f064 and other alert codes are output B
      Alert code is not output C

      HINT: 

      If any alert codes other than BMS_f064 are output, troubleshoot those alert codes first.

    B → See step   2 

    C → COMPLETED 

    A → See step   3 

  2. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2013 - ] 
  3. REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
