DTC B1635/24: Rear Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction: Description

The side collision sensor LH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat airbag assembly LH and curtain shield airbag assembly LH) is composed of the airbag ECU assembly, side airbag sensor assembly LH and side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly LH.

The side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly LH detects impacts to the vehicle and sends signals to the airbag ECU assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.

DTC B1635/24 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly LH.
