DTC B2432: Lost Communication with Automatic High Beam Sensor: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC B124D or B2432 is not output.

OK → See step 5
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) - INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the D7 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Disconnect the N2 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D7-7 (SMR) - N2-3 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω N2-3 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
- Reconnect the D7 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Connect an oscilloscope to the N2 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
- Check the waveform.

- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to REMOVAL
- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
- REPLACE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
