DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL (for RH Side): Replacement: Replacement

  1. REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the front transaxle case oil seal.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CASE OIL SEAL 
    1. Using SST, tap out the front differential case oil seal.

      • SST: 09308-00010 
  4. INSTALL FRONT TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL 
    1. Coat the lip of the front transaxle case oil seal with MP grease.

    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new front transaxle case oil seal.
      • SST: 09649-17010 
      • SST: 09950-70010 
        1. 09951-07200

      Oil seal driven in depth

      5.5 to 6.5 mm (0.217 to 0.255 in.)

      NOTE:

      Check that the oil seal is installed in the correct direction.

  5. INSTALL FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CASE OIL SEAL 
    1. Coat the lip of the front transaxle case oil seal with MP grease.
    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the front transaxle case oil seal.

        1. 09951-00410
      • SST: 09950-70010 
        1. 09951-07200

      Oil seal driven in depth

      21.5 to 22.5 mm (0.847 to 0.885 in.)

      NOTE:

      Check that the oil seal is installed in the correct direction.

  6. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION
