REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman): Reassembly: Reassembly

WARNING:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT: 



  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. for Rear Side:
      1. Install the rear seat cushion lock with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    2. for Front Side:
      1. Install the rear seat cushion lock with the 2 nuts.

        Torque: 32 N*m (326 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the No. 1 seat cushion cover assembly with 12 new hog rings.

      *1 New Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers
      NOTE:
      • Do not soil or scratch the front cushion cover.
      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
    2. Engage the 15 hooks and install the seat cushion cover and pad.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER 
    1. Install the rear seat lock control lever with a new snap ring and pin.

    2. Engage the 4 hooks and install the 2 springs.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE 
    1. Install the 4 rear seat lock control cable.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK SPRING DAMPER 
    1. Install the rear seatback spring damper with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf) 

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 3 claws and install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.

    2. Engage the 2 claws.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the No. 1 seatback cover assembly with 4 new hog rings.

      *1 New Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers
      *3 Fastening Tape
      NOTE:
      • Do not soil or scratch the front seatback cover.
      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
    2. Engage the fastening tape.
  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the 3 new hog rings.

      *1 New Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers
    2. Engage the hook.

    3. Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest supports with the installation grooves of the rear seatback frame.

      *1 Protruding
    4. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat headrest supports.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL 
    1. Install the rear seatback upper lock bezel with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.

  12. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Install the rear No. 1 seat armrest assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) 

  13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for RH side.

  14. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST CAP RH 
    1. Engage the 3 claws and install the seat armrest cap RH.

  15. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST CAP LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for RH side.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear seatback assembly.

    2. Using a T55 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 55 N*m (561 kgf*cm, 41 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Install the seat belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE 
    1. Install the rear seat lock control cable.

    2. Install the rear seat lock control cable.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE LH 
    1. Install the rear seat lock control cable LH.

  19. INSTALL FOLD SEAT LOCK LEVER 
    1. Install the fold seat lock lever with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install the assist grip strap with the screw.
  20. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 
    1. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 
    1. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  22. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  23. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 3 claws and install the No. 1 rear seat reclining cover LH.

    2. Tight the screw.
  24. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH 
    1. Install the seat cable.

      *a for RH Side

    2. Connect the seat cable.

    3. Engage the claw and install the No. 1 rear seat reclining cover RH.
    4. Tighten the 2 screws.
  25. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 guides and install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Tighten the 2 screws.
  26. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  27. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH 
    1. Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  28. INSTALL NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH 
    1. Engage the claw and install the No. 1 reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  29. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG REST RH 
    1. Install the rear seat leg rest RH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 32 N*m (326 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the seat cable.
