Front Seatback Heater: Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER 
    1. Check the operation of the front seatback heater.

      1. Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the seatback heater.

        OK

        Connection Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1        		 Always seatback heater becomes warm
        TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Front Seatback Heater)
        NOTE:

        Immediately after confirming that the seat heater is functioning normally, remove the battery ideas. Falling to do so may cause the seat heater to overheat.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater.
