- CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - NO. 2 POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the Q2 position control ECU assembly connector.
- Disconnect the R1 No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q2-14 (LFIN) - R1-1 Always Below 1 Ω Q2-11 (LFE) - R1-2 Always Below 1 Ω Q2-14 (LFIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Q2-11 (LFE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) connector.
- Reconnect the position control ECU assembly connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT NO. 2 POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (INGRESS AND EGRESS SWITCH)
- Remove the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch). Refer to REMOVAL .
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 - 4 off 10 kΩ or higher Ingress Below 1 Ω 2 - 4 off 10 kΩ or higher Egress Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component without harness connected
(No. 2 Power Seat Switch Assembly (Ingress and Egress Switch))*b Egress Switch *C Ingress Switch - Reinstall the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch).
NG → See step 5
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the R1 No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE NO. 2 POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (INGRESS AND EGRESS SWITCH). Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to DISASSEMBLY
