DTC 23: Swivel Pulse Abnormal: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the Q9 power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Q9-1 (SMIN) - Body ground No. 2 power seat switch assembly (egress switch) off → on Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V Q9-4 (SMOT) - Body ground No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress switch) off → on Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V Q9-3 (SP+) - Body ground No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress or egress switch) on

(to Power Seat Motor Assembly (Swivel Motor)) - Reconnect the power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) connector.

- CHECK POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (SWIVEL MOTOR)
- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - SWIVEL MOTOR)
- Disconnect the Q3 position control ECU assembly connector.
- Disconnect the Q9 power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q3-22 (TRNP) - Q9-5 (SPOP) Always Below 1 Ω Q9-6 (SP-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω Q3-22 (TRNP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) connector.
- Reconnect the position control ECU assembly connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (SWIVEL MOTOR)
- Temporarily replace the power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to DISASSEMBLY .

- CHECK OPERATION
- Confirm that the auto access seat operates correctly. Refer to OPERATION CHECK

- Disconnect the Q4 and Q2 position control ECU assembly connectors.
- Disconnect the Q9 power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Reconnect the position control ECU assembly connectors.
