DTC 14: Outward Slide Motor Malfunction: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the Q13 power seat motor assembly (outward slide motor) connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Q13-1 (OMFR) - Body ground No. 2 power seat switch assembly (egress switch) off → on Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V Q13-2 (OMRR) - Body ground No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress switch) off → on Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Power Seat Motor Assembly (Outward Slide Motor)) - Reconnect the power seat motor assembly (outward slide motor) connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - OUTWARD SLIDE MOTOR)
- Disconnect the Q4 position control ECU assembly connector.
- Disconnect the Q13 power seat motor assembly (outward slide motor) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q4-12 (SLIN) - Q13-2 (OMRR) Always Below 1 Ω Q4-13 (SLOT) - Q13-1 (OMFR) Always Below 1 Ω Q4-12 (SLIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Q4-13 (SLOT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the power seat motor assembly (outward slide motor) connector.
- Reconnect the position control ECU assembly connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 4
- REPLACE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (OUTWARD SLIDE MOTOR). Refer to DISASSEMBLY
- REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to DISASSEMBLY
