Mute Signal Circuit between Multi-media Interface ECU and Television Display Assembly: Procedure

1. Disconnect the D67 multi-media interface ECU connector.

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D67-14 (MUT2) - Body ground	Turn the ignition switch to ACC, disc player assembly is playing → Changing modes	3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V

1. Disconnect the D67 multi-media interface ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the U1 television display assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D67-14 (MUT2) - U1-11 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D67-14 (MUT2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
