Mute Signal Circuit between Multi-media Interface ECU and Television Display Assembly: Procedure
- CHECK MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU
- Disconnect the D67 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D67-14 (MUT2) - Body ground Turn the ignition switch to ACC, disc player assembly is playing → Changing modes 3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Front view of wire harness connector
(to Multi-media Interface ECU)

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the D67 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Disconnect the U1 television display assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D67-14 (MUT2) - U1-11 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω D67-14 (MUT2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
