Display Signal Circuit between Video Terminal and Television Display: Procedure
- CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the U2 television display assembly connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.SIGNAL WAVEFORM (REFERENCE)
Tester Condition Content Terminal No. (Symbols) U2-2 (VV+) - U2-10 (VV-) Tool Setting 0.2 V/DIV., 100 μsec./DIV. Condition External device playing (When VTR terminal used) OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO TERMINAL - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the P3 video terminal connector.
- Disconnect the U2 television display assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
