DTC C0-40: Antenna not Connected; DTC C0-41: Antenna Shorted: Procedure

1. Check that the satellite radio antenna cord sub-assembly is securely connected to the stereo component tuner assembly connector.

   OK

   The cord is securely connected.

NG → RECONNECT CONNECTOR CORRECTLY 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the satellite radio antenna assembly and stereo component tuner assembly connectors.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   2 - 2	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Standard Resistance (Check for Short)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   2 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the satellite radio antenna assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	Always	45 to 55 Ω

NG → See step   5 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the stereo component tuner assembly with a normal one.
2. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

   OK

   Malfunction disappears.
