DTC 62-41: Wrong Disc; DTC 62-42: Disc cannot be Read: Procedure

1. Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.

   OK

   No deformation or cracks in the disc.

NG → CHANGE DISC 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disc cleaning

   1. If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to outside in a radial direction.
      NOTE:

      Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

   OK

   No DTC is output.

NG → See step   5 

OK → END 

1. Replace the disc and recheck.
   1. Replace the disc with a normal one.
   2. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble code is output.

      OK

      No DTC is output.
