Reverse Signal Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)
- Enter the "Display Check" mode and select "Vehicle Signal Check Mode". Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
- Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.

Shift Lever Position Display R ON Except R OFF HINT:
This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever operation.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the D55 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the B3 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B3-2 (RL) - D55-5 (REV) Always Below 1 Ω Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B3-2 (RL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the B3 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (RL) - 1 (RB) Ignition switch ACC, shift lever in R Below 1 Ω Ignition switch ACC, shift lever in any position except R 10 kΩ or higher HINT:
Replace park/neutral position switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
