Vehicle Position Mark is not Updated: Procedure

  1. CHECK MAP DISC 
    1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

      OK

      No deformations or cracks in the map disc

    NG → REPLACE MAP DISC 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK NAVIGATION DISPLAY 
    1. Check if touch scrolling can be performed on the map display.

      OK

      Touch scroll can be performed.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  4. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE) 
    1. Enter the "Navigation Check" mode and select "Vehicle Sensors". Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

    2. While driving the vehicle, compare the "Speed" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are equal or almost equal.

      OK

      The readings are equal or almost equal.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK → END 

  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT. Refer to  DTC CHECK / CLEAR
