DTC B1562: XM Tuner Disconnected (Burst Mode): Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Check for DTC and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK
No DTC is output.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT TUNER)
- Disconnect the D61 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the L19 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D61-2 (TXO+) - L19-3 (TXI+) Always Below 1 Ω D61-3 (TXI+) - L19-2 (TXO+) Always Below 1 Ω D61-5 (TXO-) - L19-6 (TXI-) Always Below 1 Ω D61-6 (TXI-) - L19-5 (TXO-) Always Below 1 Ω D61-2 (TXO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D61-3 (TXI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D61-5 (TXO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D61-6 (TXI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the L19 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
