HINT:
- Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect AVC-LAN communication.
- This DTC may be stored when an AVC-LAN communication error occurs due to electrical noise.
- Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the L20 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU)
- Disconnect the L20 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D67 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU)
- Disconnect the D59 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D66 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D59-9 (TXM+) - D66-9 (TX1+) Always Below 1 Ω D59-10 (TXM-) - D66-10 (TX1-) Always Below 1 Ω D59-9 (TXM+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D59-10 (TXM-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily replace the stereo component tuner assembly with new or normally one. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK
No DTCs are output.
NG → See step 8
OK → END (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY IS FAULTY)
- REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU
- Temporarily replace the multi-media interface ECU with new or normally one. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK
No DTCs are output.
NG → See step 9
OK → END (MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU IS FAULTY)
- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
