Sound Signal Circuit between Video Terminal and Television Display: Procedure
- CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the U2 television display assembly connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between 3 (VAR+) or 4 (VAL+) and 11 (VA-) according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO TERMINAL - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the P3 video terminal connector.
- Disconnect the U2 television display assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
