- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if CAN communication DTCs are output. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SPEED METER OPERATION)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the operation by referring to the table below.COMBINATION METER

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (VEHICLE SPEED, VEHICLE SPEED METER)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus:
- for ABS/VSC/TRAC: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.
- for Combination Meter: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Check the values by referring to the table below.ABS/VSC/TRAC

- When the Data List values of the ECUs match, an internal malfunction of the combination meter sub-assembly is suspected.
- When the Data List values of the ECUs do not match, a signal output error of the skid control ECU or an internal malfunction of the combination meter sub-assembly is suspected.

- REPLACE METER CIRCUIT PLATE
- Replace the meter circuit plate with a new or a known good one. Refer to DISASSEMBLY
