Hybrid System Indicator Malfunction: Procedure
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

- Check for DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (HV SYSTEM INDICATOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the indicator light operation according to the values in the table below.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note HV System Indicator Hybrid System Indicator MIN, -50, 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, MAX - OK
Hybrid system indicator indication is normal.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (HYBRID SYSTEM INDICATOR)
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data Test.
- Check the values by referring to the table below.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Hybrid System Indicator Hybrid system indicator value/ Min.: -512, Max.: 511 (%) -512 to 511 (%) - OK
Hybrid system indicator value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as hybrid system indicator indication.

- REPLACE METER CIRCUIT PLATE
- Replace the meter circuit plate with a new or a known good one. Refer to DISASSEMBLY

The operation of the hybrid system indicator returns to normal.
