DTC C2176/76: Receiver Error: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - RECEIVER) 
    1. Disconnect the D33 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the O11 receiver connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D33-6 (RF5V) - O11-5 (+5V) Always Below 1 Ω
      D33-12 (RDA) - O11-1 (RDA)
      D33-11 (GND2) - O11-4 (GND)
      D33-6 (RF5V) or O11-5 (+5V) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      D33-11 (GND2) or O11-4 (GND) - Body ground
      D33-12 (RDA) or O11-1 (RDA) - Body ground

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU 
    1. Reconnect the D33 ECU connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      D33-6 (RF5V) - D33-11 (GND2) Ignition switch on (IG) 4.5 to 5.5 V

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   4 

  3. REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  4. REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ANTENNA AND RECEIVER. Refer to  REMOVAL
