Tire Pressure Warning Reset Switch Circuit: Procedure

1. Perform the tire pressure warning reset switch test in TEST MODE PROCEDURE. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE .

   OK

   Reset switch ON 

   Tire pressure warning light turns on.

   Reset switch OFF 

   Tire pressure warning light blinks at 0.125 second.

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   6 

1. Remove the tire pressure warning reset switch. Refer to REMOVAL .

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   D32-1 - D32-2	ON	Below 1 Ω
   	OFF	10 kΩ or higher

NG → See step   4 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the D32 reset switch connector.

2. Disconnect the D33 ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D33-1 (CLSW) - D32-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D33-1 (CLSW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D32-2 - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK → See step   5
