DTC B1449/49: Rear Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn Techstream main switch on.
- Select the items below in the Data List, and read the value displayed on Techstream.DATA LIST / AIR CONDITIONER

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)
- Disconnect the N12 rear air conditioning harness connector.
- Disconnect the D38 amplifier connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE REAR AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR
- Replace the rear air outlet control servo motor. Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Check for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE REAR AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS
OK → END (REAR AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR IS DEFECTIVE)
