DTC B1443/43: Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn Techstream main switch on.
    3. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the value displayed on Techstream.

      OK

      The display is as specified in the normal condition column.

      OK (Checking from PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) B
      OK (Checking from DTC) C

    B → See step   4 

    C → See step   3 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. REPLACE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR 
    1. Replace the air outlet control servo motor. Refer to REMOVAL .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER. Refer to  REMOVAL - Step 6 
  4. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
    2. Check for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      OK

      DTC B1443/43 is not output.

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS 

    OK → END (AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR IS DEFECTIVE)
