DTC P3110-223: IGCT Relay Malfunction: Procedure

- INSPECT RELAY (IGCT MAIN)
- Remove the IGCT MAIN relay from the engine room relay block No. 2.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher - Install the IGCT MAIN relay.
NG → REPLACE RELAY (IGCT MAIN)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK NO. 2)
- Remove the IGCT MAIN relay from the engine room relay block No. 2.
- Disconnect connectors A65 and A66 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A66-5 (+B1), A65-2 (+B2) or 3 (IGCT MAIN relay) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V NOTE:Turning the ignition switch to ON with the connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Install the IGCT MAIN relay.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
