DTC P2601-777: Oil Pump Control Circuit Range / Performance: Procedure

- CHECK OPERATION OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter inspection mode. Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE

HINT:
Entering inspection mode activates the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
- Connect an oscilloscope between the hybrid vehicle control ECU terminals specified in the table below, and measure the waveform.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the A48 connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Disconnect the A65 connector from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the A65 and D72 connectors from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the A48 connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Disconnect the A65 connector from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the A48 connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
