DTC P2532-772: Ignition Switch Run Position Circuit High: Procedure
- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Leave the vehicle for 15 seconds or more with the ignition switch ON after clearing DTCs.
HINT:
Leaving the vehicle for 15 seconds or more is required to detect DTC U0140-146.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to U0140-146 is not output but P2532-772 is output. A U0140-146 and P2532-772 are output. B Only DTCs other than U0140-146 and P2532-772 are output. C No DTC is output. D - Turn the ignition switch off.

- Leave the vehicle for 15 seconds or more with the ignition switch ON after clearing DTCs.
- CHECK FUSE (ECU IG NO. 1)
- Remove the ECU IG NO. 1 fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
- Disconnect connector 1A from the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Instrument Panel Junction Block) - Connect the instrument panel junction block connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK - AUXILIARY BATTERY)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the 1A and 1F connectors from the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Instrument Panel Junction Block) - Connect the instrument panel junction block connectors.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (MAIN BODY ECU)
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Leave the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more.
HINT:
Leaving the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more is required to detect DTC P2532-772.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to P2532-772 is output. A P2532-772 is not output. B

- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect connector A66 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
- CHECK RELAY (IG2)
- Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Engine Room Relay Block *2 IG2 Relay - Disconnect connector A66 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU) - Install the IG2 relay.

OK: Go to next step
- Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.
- CHECK RELAY (IG2)
- Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 130 to 235 Ω 3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2. 10 kΩ or higher Auxiliary battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2. Below 1 Ω Result

- Disconnect the ignition switch assembly connector.
- Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
