DTC P0340-886: Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to DTC P0340-886 only is output. A DTC P0343-747 is also output. B

- Check the connections of the ECM connectors.

- Check the connections of the ECM connectors.
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)
- Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.

- Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the A67 connector from the ECM.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the ECM connector.

- Remove the ECM.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the A67 connector from the ECM.
- Disconnect the A65 connector from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Disconnect the A64 connector from the inverter with converter assembly.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
- Disconnect all the connectors from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
