DTC P0AC0-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Current Sensor Circuit Range / Performance: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (DTC P0AFC-123 IS OUTPUT) See step   1 

    B → See step   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE RELAY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the hybrid vehicle relay assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
    5. Perform a road test to charge and discharge the HV battery assembly.

      HINT: 

      2 trip detection logic is used. After the first road test, turn the ignition switch off and perform a road test again.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Read output DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs P0AC0-123 is not output. A
      DTCs P0AC0-123 is output. B

    B → See step   5 

    A → END (HYBRID VEHICLE RELAY ASSEMBLY IS FAULTY) 

  5. REPLACE BATTERY SMART UNIT. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  6. GO TO DTC P0AFC-123. Refer to  DTC P0AFC-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Sensor Module
