Headlight (HI-BEAM) Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK HEADLIGHT
- Check the operation of Low beam headlights.
OK
Low beam headlights operate normally.
HINT:
If low beam headlights do not operate, refer to Problem Symptoms Table (Both left and right low beam headlights do not illuminate.)

- INSPECT ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the H-LP LH HI fuse and H-LP RH HI fuse from the engine room junction block assembly.
- Measure the voltage between the loading slot of each fuse and body ground.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H-LP LH HI terminal - Body ground Light control switch in HEAD and dimmer switch in HIGH 11 to 14 V H-LP RH HI terminal - Body ground Light control switch in HEAD and dimmer switch in HIGH 11 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FUSE - BODY GROUND)
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
