Confirmation Driving Pattern
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and turn the Techstream on.
- Drive the vehicle in circles with the accelerator pedal position at 20% for 10 seconds or more. [A]
- Perform [A] several times using different amounts of acceleration. [B]
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check that permanent DTCs are cleared.
- If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform a universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.
HINT:
- If a permanent DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
- If no permanent DTC is output, the system is normal.
