DTC B1447/47: Rear Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream main switch on.
3. Select the item below in the Data List, and read the value displayed on the Techstream.

A: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the N12 rear air conditioning harness connector.

2. Disconnect the D38 amplifier connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   N12-2 (RBUG) - D38-21 (RBUG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N12-3 (RBUS) - D38-1 (RBUS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N12-4 (RBBU) - D38-23 (RBBU)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D38-21 (RBUG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D38-1 (RBUS) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D38-23 (RBBU) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the rear air mix damper servo sub-assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

   OK

   DTC B1447/47 is not output.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE REAR AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS 

OK → END (REAR AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)
