DTC B1442/42: Air Inlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream main switch on.
3. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the value displayed on the Techstream.

1. Replace the recirculation damper servo sub-assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

   OK

   DTC B1442/42 is not output.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS 

OK → END (RECIRCULATION DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)
