Sliding Roof does not Move by Operating Sliding Roof Control Switch: Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (DC/DC, S/ROOF, ECU-IG NO. 1)
- Remove the DC/DC fuse from the engine room main relay block.
- Remove the S/ROOF and ECU-IG No. 1 fuses from the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition DC/DC fuse Always Below 1 Ω S/ROOF fuse Always Below 1 Ω ECU-IG No. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the Q12 connector.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q12-1 (B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V Q12-5 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V Q12-5 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V Standard resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (SLIDING ROOF OPERATION)
- Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the sliding roof slides open/close and tilts up/down. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
.SLIDE ROOF:

Sliding roof operates normally.
