How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the rear sunshade system.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
NEXT: Go to next step
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTICS TROUBLE CODE OF SFI SYSTEM
- Use Techstream to check for DTC P0705.
Result
Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B B → Go to SFI SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

- Use Techstream to check for DTC P0705.
- INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Use Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

Result Proceed to CAN DTC is not output A CAN DTC is output B B → Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to FAIL-SAFE CHART

- Use Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Use Techstream to check if the multiplex communication system is functioning normally.
