FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/o Seatback Board): Removal: Removal

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag) 
    WARNING:
    • Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing. Refer to PRECAUTION .
    • If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat frame assembly with adjuster, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with a new one.
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag) 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY 
  4. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER 
    1. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.
    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track cover.

  5. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER 
    1. Disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the inner seat track cover.
  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    2. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    4. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.
    5. Disconnect the connectors under the front seat assembly.
    6. Remove the front seat assembly.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
