Sunroof / Moonroof Switch: Testing and Inspection

SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)

(a) Remove the sliding roof switch assembly (map light assembly).





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the sliding roof switch assembly (map light assembly).

(c) Measure the voltage using diode test mode.

Standard Voltage:





If the result is not as specified, replace the sliding roof switch assembly (map light assembly).

NOTICE:
This procedure is for using a digital tester which has diode test mode such as a TOYOTA electrical tester. If a tester which does not have diode test mode is used, the diode may break.
