Turn Signal Flasher: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING (EXT): TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the turn signal flasher assembly from the instrument panel junction block.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Install the turn signal flasher assembly to the instrument panel junction block.





(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





If the result is not as specified, replace the turn signal flasher assembly.
