DTC B1499/99: Multiplex Communication Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Clear the DTCs, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
    2. Check for DTCs, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      CAN DTC is not output A
      CAN DTC is output (w/ Smart Key System) B
      CAN DTC is output (w/o Smart Key System) C

    C → See step   4 

    A → See step   3 

  2. GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 
  3. USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  4. GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
