INSPECT ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

Inspect the EFI No. 1 fuse.

Remove the EFI No. 1 fuse.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
EFI No. 1 fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

Inspect the EFI No. 1 fuse.

Remove the EFI No. 1 fuse.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
EFI No. 1 fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

Inspect the ETCS fuse.

Remove the ETCS fuse.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
ETCS fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

Inspect EFI relay.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
2E-12 - 2E-7	No battery voltage applied	10 kΩ or higher
2E-12 - 2E-7	Battery voltage applied between terminals 2E-10 and 2E-9	Below 1 Ω

NOTE:

While using the battery for the inspection, do not bring the positive(+) and negative(-) tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.

Inspect the A/F relay.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
2A-4 - 2A-3	No battery voltage applied	10 kΩ or higher
2A-4 - 2A-3	Battery voltage applied between terminals 2E-10 and 2E-7	Below 1 Ω

NOTE:

While using the battery for the inspection, do not bring the positive(+) and negative(-) tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.
