Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Removal: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
WARNING:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment, refer to PRECAUTION .

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected, refer to INITIALIZATION .
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 16
DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 20
DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 22
DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly.

REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly.

REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 bolts and front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
