Shift Lever: Reassembly: Reassembly

INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Install the position indicator slide cover to the No. 2 position indicator slide cover.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Install the position indicator slide cover to the position indicator housing lower.

  NOTE:
  Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover with the boss facing the rear of the vehicle.
INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING LOWER
1. Engage the 4 claws and install the position indicator housing lower to the position indicator housing.

  NOTE:
  Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.
INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE
1. Engage the 4 claws and install the position indicator light guide to the position indicator housing lower.

  NOTE:
  Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.
INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB
1. Install the cap to the bulb.
2. install the bulb to the position indicator light wire socket.
INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the indicator light wire sub-assembly to the position indicator light guide.

INSTALL SHIFT LEVER CAP
1. Install the shift lever cap to the position indicator housing.
INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY
1. Engage the 4 claws and install the position indicator housing to the shift lever assembly.

  NOTE:
  Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.
2. Connect the wire harness clamp to the shift lock control unit.
3. Connect terminals 4 and 8 of the indicator light wire.

4. Push the stopper.
5. Connect the connector and 2 wire harness clamps to the shift lock control unit.
