DTC C1377/43: Capacitor Malfunction: Procedure
- CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Check the INF code from the Freeze Frame Data memorized when the DTC (C1377/43) was stored, refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA

- Check the INF code from the Freeze Frame Data memorized when the DTC (C1377/43) was stored, refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA

- INSPECT CAPACITER FUSE
- Remove the CAPACITER fuse from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition CAPACITER (15 A) fuse Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Engine Room Relay Block *2 CAPACITER Fuse
NG → REPLACE CAPACITER FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY (+BC TERMINAL)
- Install the CAPACITER fuse.
- Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
- Disconnect the brake control power supply connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- INSPECT BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY (CAPACITOR POWER SUPPLY OUTPUT)
- Reconnect the brake control power supply connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- RECONFIRM DTC
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Clear the DTCs, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

- Check if the same DTC is recorded, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

- Check the auxiliary battery voltage.
