DTC C1348: Different Diameter Tire Malfunction: Procedure

  1. CHECK TIRES 
    1. Check the size and condition of all four wheels, refer to INSPECTION .

      HINT: 

      The DTC is output when tire deformation or a difference in tire size is detected.

      OK

      The diameter and pressure of all four tires are the same.

    NG → REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL FOUR TIRES ARE THE SAME SIZE 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
    3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (18 mph) or more.
    4. Check if the same DTC is recorded, refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs (C1384 and speed sensor DTC) are not output A
      Speed sensor DTC is output B
      DTC (C1384) is output C

    B → See step   4 

    C → See step   5 

    A → See step   3 

  3. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  4. REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART 
  5. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL
