License Plate Light Assembly: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE BACK WINDOW UPPER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 2
  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/o Power Back Door)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 3
  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (w/ Power Back Door)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 4
  4. DISCONNECT BACK DOOR STAY BOLT (w/ Power Back Door)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 5
  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/ Power Back Door)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 6
  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 7
  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER (for Glass Hatch Type)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 8
  8. REMOVE ASSIST STRAP HOLE COVER  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 9
  9. REMOVE ASSIST STRAP ASSEMBLY  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 10
  10. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 11
  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  12. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
    4. Remove the license plate light assembly.
