License Plate Light Assembly: Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the T2 connector from the license plate light.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T2-1 - T2-2 Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
      T2-1 - T2-2 Light control switch OFF Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
